Introducing MedPublica Updates
Official platform update

MedPublica is built around medical writing, but there is more to a publication than the work that appears on its pages.
Behind every contribution are decisions about how we publish, how we support contributors, and how we improve the experience for readers.
We believe those decisions and developments deserve a place in the open.
Introducing MedPublica Updates — a dedicated space to share what’s happening at MedPublica, what we’re improving, and where we’re heading.
What you’ll find here
This section brings together four kinds of updates:
- Announcements: Important news, new opportunities and changes that affect our readers or contributors.
- Changelog: Improvements we’ve released, explained in terms of what changes for the people using MedPublica.
- Roadmap: Plans we’re ready to share publicly, including what’s underway and what remains uncertain.
- Community: The people, experiences and contributions that help shape MedPublica.
Not every change needs an announcement. We’ll focus on developments that are meaningful and useful to know.
A different kind of publication
MedPublica Articles and Blogs remain spaces for medical writing, explanations, research discussions and professional perspectives, supported by their respective editorial-review processes.
Updates serves a different purpose.
Everything published here speaks on behalf of MedPublica as an organization. It is our space for institutional communication, not a substitute for the editorial review of medical contributions.
You can learn more about how we publish medical writing in our Editorial Standards.
Making our progress easier to follow
As MedPublica develops, we want readers and contributors to understand not only what’s available, but also what has changed and why.
That means distinguishing improvements already released from ideas still being explored, explaining decisions where they affect our community, and being open about what we haven’t finished.
We won’t always have a major announcement to make. When there’s something worth sharing, this is where you’ll find it.
Be part of what comes next
MedPublica continues to grow through the questions people explore, the work they contribute, and the perspectives they bring to medicine.
If you have an explanation, observation or medical question worth developing for others to read, we’d be glad to help you understand the publishing process.
