MedPublica publishes educational medical Articles, professional commentary and related resources. The content is intended for general information, learning and professional communication.
It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, emergency care or individual clinical judgement.
Reading an Article, viewing a contributor profile, leaving a comment, using a form or otherwise interacting with MedPublica does not establish a doctor–patient, clinician–patient, adviser–client or other professional relationship with MedPublica or any contributor.
Contributors publish in an educational capacity unless a separate professional relationship is expressly established outside MedPublica under applicable law.
MedPublica is not an emergency service and does not monitor the platform for urgent clinical requests. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or seek immediate in-person care.
Do not use platform content as the sole basis for starting, stopping or changing medication, investigations, treatment, rehabilitation, diet or other health decisions.
Articles may be written by medical students, interns, doctors, healthcare professionals or other approved contributors. The author’s professional context should be considered when reading the work.
Opinions and interpretations are those of the named author unless MedPublica expressly states otherwise. Publication does not mean that MedPublica endorses every opinion, conclusion, product, service or external organisation mentioned.
Contributors are responsible for submitting original, ethical and appropriately sourced work and for protecting patient confidentiality.
MedPublica’s editorial process may assess clarity, structure, ethics, source use, patient privacy, originality and compliance with platform standards.
Editorial review does not automatically mean that a qualified clinician has medically reviewed every statement in an Article. Where an Article specifically identifies a medical reviewer, that statement applies only to that Article and the review described there.
Clinical experiences, cases and examples are shared only for educational discussion. Contributors must remove or sufficiently alter details that could identify a patient and must follow applicable confidentiality, consent, professional and institutional requirements.
Even when details are anonymised, readers should not assume that a case represents every person with a similar condition. If you believe content exposes identifiable patient information, contact MedPublica immediately.
MedPublica may verify identity, training status, institutional context, qualification or professional registration using information supplied by a contributor and other reasonable checks.
Verification is a platform trust measure. It is not a guarantee of current licensure, clinical competence, employment, specialist expertise, fitness to practise or the accuracy of every published statement. Verification status may be corrected, suspended or revoked.
MedPublica aims to support responsible publishing, but medical knowledge, guidance and evidence change over time. Content may become incomplete, outdated or inaccurate, and errors or omissions may occur despite editorial checks.
Readers should consider the publication and update dates, cited sources, author context and any correction notice. MedPublica does not guarantee that every page is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.

Articles may link to journals, guidelines, institutions, products or other third-party websites. Links are provided for context or convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.
