These Terms govern access to MedPublica, contributor accounts, verification, submissions, editorial review, publication and other use of the platform.

By accessing or using MedPublica, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Medical Disclaimer and any contributor or editorial guidelines that apply to a particular feature.
If you do not agree, do not create an account, submit content or use restricted platform features. You may still be subject to these Terms when browsing publicly available pages.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit content. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Some contributor roles require evidence of education, training, identity, professional status or registration. Meeting the minimum age does not guarantee approval for a contributor or verified role.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. MedPublica may require additional verification or temporarily restrict access where security or identity is uncertain.
MedPublica may assign roles such as Contributor, Author, Editor or Chief Editor according to platform requirements and workflow responsibilities.
Verification is based on information, documents and reasonable checks available at the time. MedPublica may approve, reject, correct, suspend or revoke verification where information is inaccurate, expired, misleading or no longer supports the displayed status.
Verification does not guarantee clinical competence, employment, specialist expertise or the accuracy of every submission.
When you submit an Article, profile statement, image, comment or other material, you confirm that:
Submitting content does not guarantee review, acceptance or publication. MedPublica may check originality, clarity, sources, ethics, patient privacy and compliance with platform standards.
MedPublica may request revisions, edit formatting or presentation, hold a submission, reject it, remove it from a queue, unpublish it or add a correction or notice. Where practicable, revision guidance or reasons may be provided, but the depth and timing of feedback may vary.
Only content that reaches the appropriate approval stage is treated as published. Draft, pending, revision, editorial-review, chief-editor-review, ready-to-publish, rejected or other non-published states are not public publication.
Never submit names, photographs, records, dates, locations, rare combinations of facts or other details that could identify a patient unless there is a lawful basis, appropriate consent and explicit MedPublica approval.
De-identification must be meaningful, not cosmetic. Contributors remain responsible for complying with professional duties, institutional rules and applicable law. MedPublica may immediately restrict or remove content that creates a privacy risk.

You retain ownership of original content you submit, subject to third-party rights and applicable law.
By submitting content for publication, you grant MedPublica a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for accessibility and presentation, publish, publicly display, distribute, archive and promote that content in connection with MedPublica. This includes reasonable excerpts, previews and platform or social formats.
The licence continues for as long as the content is hosted, published, archived or reasonably required for editorial records, dispute handling, backups or legal compliance. Removal requests will be assessed under the Privacy Policy, editorial obligations and applicable law.
The MedPublica name, logo, design system, software, editorial presentation and original platform material are protected by applicable rights. You may link to public pages and share lawful excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy the platform, remove notices, imply endorsement or use MedPublica branding deceptively.
Comments, contact messages and other interactions must remain respectful, relevant and lawful. Do not use comments to request emergency care, disclose patient information, harass contributors or provide unsafe personalised treatment directions.
MedPublica may moderate, hide or remove communications and may limit interaction features where necessary.
MedPublica is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may be changed, suspended, tested, limited or discontinued. Maintenance, security events, hosting failures, third-party services or other circumstances may interrupt access.
MedPublica does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of drafts or compatibility with every device. Contributors should retain independent copies of important work.
MedPublica may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts or roles for breach of these Terms, false verification information, privacy risk, security concerns, repeated editorial misconduct, unlawful activity or harm to platform integrity.
Notice or an opportunity to respond may be provided where reasonable. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect people, data, patient privacy, legal compliance or platform security.
Medical and educational content is subject to the Medical Disclaimer. Verification and editorial review do not guarantee clinical competence or perfect accuracy.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MedPublica is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on user-submitted content, external links, service interruption, unauthorised account access or use inconsistent with these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Verification documents and private account information must be submitted only through designated secure workflows—not through public comments or general contact forms.
MedPublica may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, editorial or platform changes. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform or account email where appropriate.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to courts or authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.
